Mulberry Bush Stamford
A welcoming and friendly atmosphere greets all our children and families at the Mulberry Bush Nursery, Stamford. We work collaboratively with parents and carers to provide individualised early years education and care for children from birth to five years, meeting the needs of local families in Stamford and the surrounding villages. For 20 years we were successfully based at Stamford college and have been established here, in the grounds of St. Augustine's Primary School since April 2012.
We have a small and longstanding team of dedicated, knowledgeable and experienced practitioners supporting the learning and development of the children in our care. Ofsted observes: 'Staff form strong relationships with the children and children are well equipped to move to their next stage in their learning. Partnerships with parents and external agencies are a key strength, consequently, all children receive the support they need'.
The Mulberry Bush is open 8.30am-4-30pm daily, with funded hours being accessed 9am-3pm, we are a term time only provision following Lincolnshire term dates.
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), implementing a flexible curriculum which is tailored to each child's individual needs and interests, paying particular regard to the social and emotional development of all our children. We want all our children to be confident in their abilities, self-assured and willing to try new experiences and foster sound relationships based on mutual respect and empathy for others, ready and eager to move onto their next steps.

Little Lane Nurseries- Stamford and Easton on the Hill
The Little Lane Nurseries are boutique nursery settings located in the centre of stamford and the nearby village of Easton-On-The-Hill. Together these provide the highest standard of childcare for a small number of children between the ages of six weeks and five years. The Nurseries are the creation of two Stamford mummies, Emma and Victoria.

Just some of the activities the children experience include local outings to the park, the library, the park and soft pay!
Both settings are small allowing us to keep group sizes low and staff love the personal side of that, getting to know all the children so well, we become an extension of your family. It allows us to give the children the time and opportunity to grow in a more homely environment. We run a fully accredited Forest School Programme. Our very own branded Minibus allows the team to take the children out on adventures as well as using our on site wooded copse so that our younger children can experience this wonderful way of learning. We are very proud to have been awarded our Millie’s Mark Accreditation in 2017 and stay committed to this each year, going above and beyond in the requirements of keeping children safe. Parents can be assured that all staff are competent and fully trained in Paediatric First Aid.
